Twinkle Twinkle Lil Stars! Part 3

Here’s the final product of our space art! After doing the background. I cut up white sticker labels to let them paste the ‘astronaut’ suit and gave them other alien and space related stickers to create their own space story. The kids also used silver pen and pencil to draw other effects they liked.

Next we had Play Time! I simply placed the mega cardboard they mobbed painted the last time to become the Space area to play on. Next, I blew balloons for them to draw their aliens and have those aliens bounce in the air for a fun time.

I liked the idea from Little Bins with Little Hands’ using aluminium foil as meteorites. The boys liked the crushing and throwing of the meteorites and played with the space toys. Nontheless, my eldest was more interested in playing the balloon and other things with his friend over the toys leaving only my second one engrossed in this play. Oh well, sometimes not all activities will appeal to them and I’ve gotta accept it. : p

If you have missed our twinkle series, do check out over Part 1 and Part 2 (Part 2 is the same as the background post) .

Have a magical time in Space pursuit!
